DSS#3® (H-11 Modified)
DSS#3® is used in die casting molds where
high toughness, high resistance to thermal shock, reduced heat checking, lower maintenance
cost, and prolonged die life are a necessity. The impact value of DSS#3®
is 2 to 3 times greater than that of H-13P.
Dunn Specialty Steels, Inc. has guaranteed DSS#3 to produce 20% more
product per die than the current standard of H-13.
