S-R DIE MAT™ was designed primarily
for zinc die casting molds but has found favor for short run aluminum die cast molds.
It has a high cleanliness and resists heat checking and gross cracking.

36/42 RcH and in a stress-free condition. Subsequent heat treating is unnecessary. |

Welding Rod: A.I.S.I. 4340 Type
Pre-Heat temperature: 400º F
Post-Heat temperature: 975º F/1085º F - tempering temperature. |

S-R DIE MAT™ is capable of receiving
many of today's surface coatings. Check with your DSS sales representative or with
any of the quality coatings companies. |
