that provide additional value to its customers.
| Forgings: |
For large blocks or quick delivery of out-of-stock items,
DSS can forge to size, and in most instances deliver to the end user within 2 to 3 weeks,
any item ordered. Large blocks are never cut from larger blocks, but individually
forged to offer a more consistent and better quality product. |
| Plate Sawing: |
DSS can plate saw up to 10" thick x 96" wide x
146" long. |
| Cut Off Sawing: |
DSS can cut off saw up to 42.25" wide by 25"
thick. |
| Burning: |
DSS can configure or straight line burn, to your
specifications, up to 12" thick P-20, up to 14" thick 4140, and up to 20"
thick mild steel plate. |
| Grinding: |
Your steel can be Blanchard ground to 145" across
corners and up to 60" high, and can be Mattison ground up to 90" across corners
and 24" high. |
| Heat treat: |
DSS does not heat treat in-house but can provide to you, at
a reasonable cost, quench and temper, normalizing, stress relieving, stress tempering, and
shot blasting. |
